Overwhelmed much?

There are some days where it just starts badly, has a slight bright spot and then fades to utter darkness. It can be so overwhelming when those days happen, that your entire life seems ridiculously hard. I’ve been there lived it!! I have sat and cried and felt the entire weight of the all of my problems pressing in on me and no relief in sight. One thing I learned from those experiences is to look for the good things no matter how difficult. After I had my little girl I was hypothyroid and depressed with brain fog and she was 24/7 and not gaining and I had schoolwork and homework. If that wasn’t bad enough DCFS came a knocking, sigh!!! That was tough. The good things were that my neighbors helped me with my 7 and 9 year old. They looked out for my kids knowing I was not doing well. It was a huge blessing to me. Plus my husband stood by and supported me which was another huge bonus. These things took 2 years to resolve, baby still didn’t gain weight well, but I managed to get diagnoses for her. My thyroid numbers came down slowly, it took a year before they normalized along with my mood and brain fog. I still managed to graduate with honors and didn’t stop my education. I could only take it one day at a time and sometimes one moment at a time. I would get so overwhelmed if I didn’t just focus on what was in front of me on any given day. Don’t think that it lasts forever, but sometimes it feels like it will. If I made it through all that you can make it through your challenges too!!!

  1. It’s pretty sad they never checked for tongue tie, that’s was obviously the reason she wasn’t gaining weight.
