Everyday I get up and do my usual routines, conference talk, scriptures, exercise and prayer. Of course within that prayer and scripture study I am asking for Heavenly Fathers help to accomplish those things on my agenda, with the caveat that I will do those things that He would want me to do. After I have accomplished all my morning routines I am them left to exercise my faith by action. I can pray until forever, however, without action there is really very little faith. This is where I have gone wrong sometimes. I have prayed and prayed all the time expecting that Heavenly Father would save me or otherwise help me. Well, he can’t help me unless I do something. That is where I am at today. In the last month I have been working steadily on my business, accomplishing things that I didn’t think I could or would ever do. It has been crazy, enlightening, and busy. I have poured out my heart for help in prayer, but I have gotten up and done something every single day. Just like exercise. You can’t pray that you will lose weight without actually doing something about it, like watching what you eat or exercising. The thing is that some days things don’t go right and you might want to give up and crawl back into the corner. This is where hope comes in. So we hope and continue to work and do. That is what life is all about. Getting up when we don’t feel like it, doing what we have to do to accomplish those seemingly impossible tasks. Heavenly Father is right there with us always.
