I honestly think that this is my biggest challenge. This having a good attitude while waiting is probably the hardest thing to do. 2 years ago my family and I were moving 60 miles north. This was not a big deal we had moved across country 3 years prior so this should be a cake walk. The cross country move was full of delays too and I figured this would be easy we live in the state so no problems with the move at all!! Well it wasn’t, there were delays of every kind imaginable and I had such a bad attitude, we almost lost out on the house we were buying in both circumstances. I struggled and struggled even though the muscles of patience had already been practiced on 3 years prior. Sometimes we go through similar experiences to test our patience and our faith. Yes, at some points we might recognize that we are not fully in charge of our lives. That is when we usually give the whole problem to Heavenly Father and allow him to work out the details. I did feel that the house we were buying was the house we needed to be in, in both circumstances. I certainly did not lack the faith to buy them and continue to hold onto that, but Heavenly Father had to test those parts of me that was needing testing. So it is today, in my current challenges. There will always be tests and trials but to maintain the faith which started you on this path is to keep a good attitude. When you have included Heavenly Father throughout your actions (faith building, patience testing trials) then you will obtain what you started out to do, if you allow him to work out the details for you. Just remember it is not all on you!!
