This reminds me of the scriptures in 2 Kings when Elisha was in Dothan and told his servant: Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. Then he proceeded to pray that his servants eyes would be open to see it, and he did!!! That illustrates that there are many unseen hands that aid us in our everyday lives. Just because we cannot see them does not mean that they are not there. The principle of faith in what we cannot see is one of the first principles we must learn to live a good life. I know I exercise faith everyday, sometimes without even thinking about it. For example, I go out to drive my vehicle and I expect it to work. That shows faith. Even if it doesn’t start right away I attempt to look and see if it is something simple like a battery connection. Those are acts of faith. It sometimes takes an act of faith to get out of bed if you don’t feel well. Many times over we all chose faith. Faith that things will eventually work out! Just don’t forget that on the other side of life are people who are helping us time and time again. We may not be able to see them but we are aided by them every single day, and that is something I am very grateful for!!
