Yes, this right here!! I don’t know about you but asking the right questions can be really difficult at times. Sometimes I think I just like to exhaust myself by asking all the wrong questions until I finally get it that I am not asking the right questions. At this point my prayers change to ask the question alright, what would thou have me do? This is an expression of humility not only that but these are the kind of prayers that get answered the fastest. Mostly because we are seeking His will and are ready to receive the answers. I will tell you that this may give answers that may make you have to come out of your comfort zone. This is a stretching and growing exercise where you learn to trust God in everything. I will say that upon learning of something difficult to do and accomplish the best thing to do is to exercise faith in the areas you can. Acknowledging your own weaknesses and asking for help in the areas that seem difficult for you is the next part. Heavenly Father will give you ample evidence that this is the right course of action even though it is extremely difficult for you. The thing is that we don’t always understand God’s will because we like to think that nothing bad can happen to us. But when those bad things do happen we want to “curse God and die”. Granted there may be some rights to been upset about our life’s circumstances that are thrust upon us but we actually choose what happens next at least in our actions and attitude if nothing else. However, if we have asked the right questions and shown humility in the process then the next thing to ask for is the strength to fulfill what he is asking of you. Every once in a while Heavenly Father will stretch you just a little bit more by making you wait for an answer. For me, that is probably the most difficult of all to be still and know that He is God and obviously in charge. The final act of humility and the one that shows the most courage is to be in submission to his will without objection. When the Savior hung on the cross I am sure it was more than painful as the nails were in his hands and wrist and feet. Then asking for something to drink he was given nothing that I would want to drink. One of the greatest acts of Love for all of us he subjected himself to it willingly. So that we could life our lives knowing that we can repent of our mistakes and not bear the burden of it. That the Savior suffered for us even in all our mistakes of not trusting Him in the first place. Because that is what it all boils down to. We make mistakes or sin because we do not trust God with our lives in the first place. So, if you are faced with something that is difficult to do just know that trusting God and praying with real intent to help you with it is the only thing that will get you through it. He is mighty to save us in all our weaknesses.
